Fuelled by a complex diet of meat, cheese and chocolate products, Spencer loves nothing more than devouring new technology, new approaches and new thinking to deliver the very best creative work.
In an industry that is constantly evolving, he believes it’s by keeping his finger on the pulse that he can produce his most effective work for Pink’s clients.
However, Spencer says there’s one thing he learnt during his very first design job that he never forgets when it comes to design: the importance of simplicity and accuracy to reach an audience and make them think.
Spencer also adds that he takes a lot of inspiration from design heavyweights such as Peter Saville, Josef Müller-Brockmann, Saul Bass and the genius who first wrapped up some meat and refried beans in a tortilla and called it a burrito. Boy, does this guy never stop thinking about his stomach?
